30 Years and counting

Rupert Lewis' Profile

I recently acquired TT Tents with a clear purpose - to build on the heritage of creating exceptional temporary structures that would consistently exceed our clients’ expectations.  It was while I was a serving officer in the British Army that a chance introduction to TT’s founder, Anthony Wickham, led me to acquire the business that he had so successfully built up over the last 33 years.

TT Tents’ culture of professionalism, dedication, personal service and being "up for the challenge" struck a chord with many of the values that had guided me through my own 20 year career in the Army.  I am now very grateful to be the owner of a business that has an industry wide reputation for quality, delivering exceptional custom-built temporary structures to the most prestigious brands, agencies and events.  Using our cutting-edge German engineered Losberger structures, we are proud to work with the best supplies in the industry, whose work match our own high standards, both whilst we are onsite and long after we have handed over to the client.

TT Tents has extensive and in-depth knowledge of the event industry, meaning we are perfectly placed to offer advice, planning, design lead and technical know-how – together we will create the perfect event. I am extremely proud of the skills and passion we put into every project and look forward to working with you soon.

Anthony’s Profile

It is with great pleasure that I announce the beginning of a new era in the history of TT Tents.  As of 1 August 2018, the new “man at the helm” of TT is Rupert Lewis, who has purchased the company from me and is, in my view, the ideal person to carry the company forward to the next stage of its development.

After 33 years of nurturing TT Tents and bringing it on from being the small “new kid on the block” to the industry recognised and respected company it is today, I have total confidence that under this new management TT will develop yet further with fresh ideas and further investment in Losberger equipment, but equally maintaining the company’s ethos of excellence, attention to detail and customer service.

After a career in the Armed Forces, Rupert brings many fine qualities to his new role, and I am very excited about the future for TT, which I pass over in full confidence that the company, its loyal clients and its excellent workforce are in very safe and capable hands.   Rupert’s infectious enthusiasm and excellent design skills bring a fresh new dimension to TT and I see exciting times ahead.

I will continue to oversee my established clients and have been asked to assist with business development, which I am delighted to do.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank the company’s longstanding clients and my excellent and dedicated staff for their loyalty over the years and wish Rupert and the team all the very best for the future.
